State launches public call for PPP in the Citizen Service Centers project 04/20/2020 - 15:44
The Planning and Structuring Projects Secretariat opened last week the public call for bids for the Citizen Service Centers project, one of the first on the list of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in the State of Paraná. The project has already been evaluated by the Paraná Partnership Council (CPAR) and is now moving on to the proposal structuring stage.
Those interested in presenting studies related to the structuring of the project will have until December 23 to submit their proposals to the Coordination of Concessions and Partnerships (CCP), linked to the Secretariat of Planning and Structuring Projects.
The projects must present studies, surveys and investigations for the installation, operation and maintenance of the plants. The purpose of the call is to collect necessary information for an eventual (analyze the feasibility of a) bidding procedure.
The State intends to implement several Citizen Service Centers throughout Paraná, where state, federal and municipal public services will be offered in a unified way, such as issuing documents and accessing benefits.
Portfolio of partnership projects
In September, the State Government presented a portfolio with the planned projects, with estimated deadlines, investments and a table with the evolution of the planning of each one. Among the projects already qualified is the construction and management of the Piraquara Industrial Penitentiary (called PIP). Another is the construction and administration of vehicle yards that are currently managed by the Traffic Department (Detran), in addition to the creation of Citizen Service Centers.
